The car then went another NE driver, Al Lariviere, who tracked the car, but had an incident at Lime Rock Park. It changed hands again and was rebuilt by the brothers Caruso, running in local autocross events, and eventually ended up with Bill Goodale.
The car became the basis for a special project that Bill tried for Pro Solo competition. He installed a 2.0 liter Porsche 6 cylinder motor from his mighty Deserter, lengthening the engine bay and shortening the driver area. Liking the chassis, but not the motor setup, he then went back to 4 cylinder power eventually ending up with a 2.8 liter engine. In this configuration the car was one of the top National runners in Amod.

Jerry purchased the car in 2000 and ran it both locally and Nationally. In 2003 a new chassis was built here at SFRE. The new tub is much stronger than the original in torsion and has a larger driver compartment to accommodate Jerry’s taller frame. A different wing package was also added, and the car is a real rocket.
